I am so sorry I have not posted anything for awhile! I promise soon I will get back to it! I just have been very busy at the start of 2014 and have not managed to make anything for a while, I have still been crafting, but not with tags and stuff. I have been doing some paintings for family and for myself. I have since got a new lap top that I absolutely love and I am working on buying a new camera for myself. I have big plans for my blog and other areas coming this summer, maybe a little earlier! so don't forget about me ha-ha! I will be back soon I promise! I hope you all have a a great start to your 2014!

12 Tags of 2013- December!!
I cant believe this is my last 12 tags post of 2013! It feels like this year has went by so fast... but then scrolling on my Facebook post.. I realized that this year has been filled with loving memories that I will cherish forever. this months tag I really had to play around with to figure out how I wanted to make it. I think it turned out pretty good! here it is!
This year has been amazing:) I hope all of your guys have had a great time creating along with Tim Holtz just like I did:) I am excited to see what 2014 has in store:) and thank you guys for sticking along with me I hope your year was great as well! I still have to get a new years resolution that ill probably forget about again! I was supposed to loose weight this year... yea that didn't happen lol
Ill see you guys next time!! I will post a couple more before the end of the year so this isn't the last time ill talk to you amazing people:)
to start I just made a simple background using the following products, just like tim did
this Is what I got
then I taped some tissue tape on the background and covered them with ink.. you could have did this before you inked the tag but I just didn't know I was going to use tissue tape until afterwards. I added this step because felt like this tag needed a little something extra
then I stamped a saying and added my flower
I made the flower the same way Tim did it so I didn't think I needed to explain it.. but you can visit his blog under Decembers tag, and he explains how to make it.

12 Tags of 2013- November!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving full of family and friends and lots of love!. I know my thanksgiving meal took a lot of planning, but the pay off has been great!.
these last few months I haven't been posting a lot of posts.. which is sad because my blog has been growing in popularity. this month has been so busy, I made this tag a long time ago but im just getting to up load it... like a day before it ends ha-ha!
here's my tag of the month!
So I started just like Tim did with a black tag and then I followed his instructions to correctly do the chalking technique.
I used a label and used my idea-ology bubble letters to write "invent" on it. I finished with some glitter glue down the side and a blue ribbon at the top that has some pins stuck to it.
I pretty much stuck to what time did... im a more colorful person so of course I had to add the blue embellishments which is perfect for the winter time!
here's some extra pictures I took.
thank you guys for reading!! see you guys next time!!

12 Tags of 2013- October!
hello everyone!! So I'm not going to lie I struggled a little bit with this months tag.. I couldn't get the products I had to "work" with Tim's techniques. After I tried a lot of different ways to make all the cool glittered pieces work.. I couldn't get it to look quite right... so I " improvised" I needed to get a tag up this month and with one day left in October I'm finally getting it up! so here we go... my Halloween tag!
ok so I hope you guys enjoyed!! make sure you have a great Halloween filled with lots of family and friends and of course.. crafting!!
thanks for everything and sorry again about putting this up last minute!! I promise to have the November one up sooner!
So as you can see I used to "funky" items that I don't normally use in my daily use haha
for the background I went with the old fashioned distress ink in Dusty concord, iced spruce and black soot
I then glued on some letters from idea-ology along the left side of the tag
then I took a tiny glass bottle from idea-ology and I put some clear glue in the bottle. then I added some green alcohol ink. the alcohol ink does not want to blend in with the glue so it made a cool slimy affect. I also put a scoop of the black soot distress glitter in there to make it speckled.. I turned out pretty cool and disgusting looking at the same time.. but what is better for Halloween
I just added some more embellishments to the tag and then I was done with a tag I actually liked haha
I attempted to make my tag with all the glittered pieces like Tim's, but I just couldn't get it to work.. I was a little bumbed but I think this tag looks great too!
Here's some more pictures

12 Tags of 2013- September
Hello everyone!! I finally got around to uploading my next tag of the month! mine has been finished for awhile and I'm super excited to finally get around to showing everyone:) My inspiration for this tag was obviously Tim's beautiful tag, but I also got a new stamp set, and I wanted to use them:) as always.. I'm a very happy girl when I get to use a bunch of bright colors:) I love making tags rainbow colored! so here is my tag
If you like this tag, and would like to know a little about how I made this.. just read below!!
I started with some clear embossing powder with a poka dot stamp on a blank manila tag. I stamped the stamp in the top right corner and the bottom left corner. then I heated it up so that it would stick to the tag.
after that, I added my distress ink colors
I used squeezed lemonade, picked raspberry, salty ocean and spiced marmalade ( distress stain )
I then added some chit-chat words
then I embellished with a metal key and some crinkle ribbon that Inked with the same colors I used on the actual tag, and a stamp. just like that I was done:)!! here's some extra pictures
thank you guys for reading!! I hope you enjoyed this months tag and I cant wait to check out everyone else's tag! enjoy the rest of your month!! ( I cant believe it is almost fall! this year has flown by!!)

12 Tags of 2013- August!
hello everyone! so I'm posting this post really late and I do apologize about that but I hope you enjoy my version of Tim's tag this month!
I do not have a lot of time to explain this tag, but I just layered the colors of inks below and then covered the car and the Eiffel tower with a pierce of cut out paper because I didn't have the masks that Tim used. then I just stamped over the images and embellished with a few things not much though:) heres some pictures below as to how I created this tag:)
thank you guys for reading and be sure to keep reading for more of my projects:) and make sure to have a great day:)

12 Tags of 2013- July!!
hello everyone!! so this months tag is very patriotic! I loved the idea of putting crackle under the distress stain! I think the final effect looked really cool! and the brayer technique was just pure genius and I have already used it on some of my other projects!
then I went around the edges with vintage photo and walnut stain distress ink. this is what it looked like at this stage
so this is my tag and I thought the final effect turned out pretty cool!
the first thing I did was to die cut the old glory die and paint it with rock candy crackle paint
then I used barn door and salty ocean distress stain with a brayer and rolled it on the tag just like Tim did to his tag
then I went around the edges with vintage photo and walnut stain distress ink. this is what it looked like at this stage
then I used the same distress stain over the flag and stars then its all about embellishments and finishing touches and your done! to glue on the stars and the flag I used foam dots.
thanks for reading!! subscribe to this blog to get updates on new posts and be sure to check out my other blog that can be found in my links under my banner. it has a lot of DIY'S and ect. stuff:)
